Tummy Fat Leads to Type 2 Diabetes

Tummy fat is involved in Type 2 Diabetes. According to the authors of a study carried out by the University College London, The Institute for Fiscal Studies (London) and the RAND Corporation, a non-profit organization with headquarters in Santa Monica, CA, a high waist size presents a higher risk for Diabetes type 2 than does fat located in other areas of the body, such as intramuscular or subcutaneous fat.
