Does a Mediterranean Diet Plan Really Work?

Sedentary life
Spaniards have abandoned the traditional Mediterranean diet plan they have followed for centuries and they are paying the price. They have become sedentary, have lowered their consumption of fruits and vegetables as well as extra virgin olive oil, and eat more red meat. The result: they have more heart attacks.
This is a really sad story but we may be able to learn something from it.I guess the question is why Spaniards have abandoned a Mediterranean lifestyle tha
